Lived in Duluth, Minnesota. Was a partner with his brother William Rodrick Cutcliffe at Drummond, Minnesota. No children.
" Francis Albert Cutcliffe was born in P.E.I., Canada, on the old homestead near South Melville. Very few people know his name was Francis as he always went by the name of Frank. He followed his brother William to Duluth from Canada, and went into business with him when he arrived. He married May Lindquist, but they were not blessed with children. After the Drummond Stock Farm closed down at Drummond, Frank worked as County Engineer of St. Louis County, Minnesota. He was known all over the country as a jolly man for he loved a good time and liked people. Frank lived in Duluth in his last years and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetary, Duluth, Minnesota."
Source: In an interview with Benjamin F. Cutcliffe, Ben stated that he had many found childhood memories of Frank. Frank lived in Drummond and worked at the saw mill there when Benjamin was born. During his early years, Ben remembers many instances when Frank would play games with Ben. One incident Ben related was when he and Frank were in the middle of a game and Ben's father ended the game because Frank was supposed to be working and not playing with Ben. As a child, Ben saw Frank as a man who really loved children.
