Narrative

Thomas Hodgetts was born at McCraes Hills near Cressy in 1846. Hemarried Frances Agnes Lee at Cressy on 1/7/1873. They lived for manyyears at Cressy where Thomas was a farmer and later a storeman. Between1892 and 1897, he was employed as a carpenter at 'Saundridge' then soonafter he moved his family to Ridgley, near Burnie.
He lived at Ridgley until his death in 1916 at the age of 70years.Frances remained at Ridgley where she was later known as the towneccentric. They had 11 children.
