Narrative

"On November 15, 1822, at St. Andrews Church of England, in Ashburton, the four eldest children George, John, Mary and Charles were baptized by the Reverend Joshua Renolds Johnson, the curate - Togeather with their first cousin, Elizabeth Cutcliffe Gribble daughter of John and Elizabeth, (Dr. George's Sister). John Gribble was a Solicitor and thier abode was at St. Nicholas. This information I obtained from the Devon Records Office, in the Exter City Library on Thursday 7 th. September 1995."
"George Cutciffe of Ashburton, who married..Spilsbury, and had issue." (This is Richard Cutcliffe's family. Richard and his family left England circa 1843.).
As of the year 2000, there is no proof that Richard was a part of this family.
