Amos Samuel Gammon who is alleged to have come over in 1680 from the "low countries" ". The link
between Evan Gammon and Jenkings Gammynce needs to be corroborated. Tim Wormleighton,
Principal Archivist, North Devon Record Office could find no record of him in the Marwood parish
