Narrative

George Lived on a farm in Brooklin, Maine until he died. Saved all of Jemima Cutcliffe's report cards and school papers and had them safely put away in the Barn. Left Prince Edward Island in 1905 and went to Old Town, Maine or possibly Argyle, Maine. Returned to PEI in 1907. George was very strict. When his wife died, and Jemima was 14 years old, Jemima had to keep house for her fatehr and brother Dawson. She was asked to serve punch at a high school dance and her father, George, said that if they needed a bartender, let them hire one.
